AI Daily Briefing — Daily Intelligence and Topic System
A daily topic-picking system for AI and Web3 creators: it reads vendor feeds, shipped products, market data, developer discussion and papers, then writes a linked briefing.
A daily intelligence and topic-picking system for AI and Web3 creators: it harvests signals from vendor feeds, products, markets, media, developer communities and papers, then produces a Markdown briefing with links plus a searchable single-file HTML edition. Ships 2 skills - daily-briefing and openclaw-skill-vetter - plus the identity and context set (IDENTITY, SOUL, AGENTS, USER, MEMORY, HEARTBEAT, BOOTSTRAP) as neutral templates, a Python runtime, offline sample data, docs and tests.

Reworked before publication: the author's personal context files were replaced with neutral templates and install leftovers removed, as declared in the pack README. Upstream code and licence stay upstream's. Upstream code and licence stay upstream's.

What we like
- Two skills ship and match the description; the collector runs offline on bundled sample data, so a first look needs no keys.
- The rework is disclosed, not silent: the personal context files are now templates saying what was removed, and the vendored vetter keeps its credit.
Potential improvements
- Some output titles and scoring fields still carry the author's name; only the surrounding prose was genericised.
- The bundled validator checks edited Markdown only, as the README now says.
Minimum requirements
- Python with the listed requirements, plus an agent runtime for the skill command; some live sources need their own tokens.
Security risks
- No keys or credentials ship; the only absolute paths are the pack's own assertions.
Tested: archive and packaging checks, the bundled test suite, an offline dry run, a licence and provenance audit. Not tested: live network collection and token-gated sources.

Rework at 1.0.0 - same slug, same pinned commit 835a28fb11d3 (2026-08-26). The author's personal context files no longer ship: USER.md, SOUL.md, IDENTITY.md and MEMORY.md are neutral templates (a private individual's finances, health and schedule cannot go on the catalogue); the four dated memory/*.md notes become memory/README.md. ClawHub install metadata removed (.clawhub/, .openclaw/, skills/openclaw-skill-vetter/{.clawhub/origin.json,_meta.json}); the skill is kept. Prose framing it as one person's instance is genericised (SKILL.md description and tags, AGENTS.md, CODEX.md, a comment). README.md now notes a bare python briefing.py draft does not pass validate-briefing.py before the editorial pass. Packaging fix: the 3 files upstream marks 100755 now ship executable - our packager had flattened every mode to 0644. On these bytes: 73 tests pass (3.11), dry-run exits 0. Retained: MIT notice, upstream credit, the author's name in output titles. 9 modified, 1 added, 8 removed.
Review: Approved on the stored bytes of the third revision of this version (blob sha256 e23affbd1c45825425048f32d36022f12f1d14dff2853b77e73aa5d41e70e8ff, equal to the blob the row points at; 35 entries). Both grounds of the 2026-10-06 decline are closed in these bytes, re-checked rather than taken from the change note: the personal dossier files are gone (the dated memory logs are replaced by a template index; the context files are neutral templates that say the author's details were removed), the ClawHub/dotfile leftovers and the vendored vetter skill's metadata are removed with the provenance declared in the README, the README carries the validate-briefing caveat, and the packaging mode loss is fixed on this revision (3 install scripts stored 755). Install test on these bytes: bundled suite 73/73 OK, offline dry run exit 0 producing a full 433-line briefing, no keys and no host paths beyond the pack's own assertions; licence MIT, credited upstream, no third-party bundle to attribute. Advisories recorded, not grounds: no step-by-step Hermes install section (a Hermes runtime is named); the report title and scoring field names still carry the upstream author's name; the vendored skill ships under the pack's single licence. Live network collection and token-gated sources not exercised. (2026-10-06)
