Search Practice Fleet — Genesis
Six-agent Hermes fleet for a small search and placement practice, on the Genesis Obsidian vault protocol: source material filed into schema-validated records, mailbox review, pipeline and task board work, and invoicing with a journal handoff to the accounting package. Includes the vault setup itself — 12 fileClass definitions, 9 controlled vocabularies, 9 saved views, 5 canvas dashboards, 2 guard scripts — plus 8 playbook skills. Five roles on cadences; the assistant runs on request only.

Authored by James White (https://www.linkedin.com/in/james-alexander-white/) from a working practice system, generalised for anyone running a small search practice. The five roles are archetypes, not people; the vault schema is the live protocol transcribed into templates. Removed before shipping: the practice name, every third-party person, client and candidate name, mailbox and host names, machine paths, credentials, and the canvases' contents (341 nodes). The byline is deliberate.

What we like
A coherent six-role fleet: eight playbook skills and a full Obsidian vault schema (12 fileClasses, 9 vocabularies, 9 views, 5 dashboards, 2 guard scripts). Installs cleanly on a stock profile; the validator's exit codes are honest. MIT, with the vendored reporting attribution intact.
Potential improvements
The config template is not valid Hermes config as shipped — its copy step yields doctor warnings. Three roles are "Scheduled" with no scheduling instructions; the task board they route onto is off; billing-handoff ships unassigned. A validator gap passes illegal event types.
Minimum requirements
Hermes Agent, python3, Obsidian (free), two manual plugin steps.
Security risks
None found: no secrets, credential-shaped files, personal data, absolute host paths or undisclosed third-party material. The template's shared skills directory pulls an operator's whole skill library into every role.
Tested: fresh install and live round-trips. Not tested: Obsidian plugins, hosted memory.

Initial upload. Fleet shape: a coordinator SOUL plus agents/ (five roles) and vault/; the fleet itself is the deliverable. Classification: 4 OASF skill leaves + 1 domain leaf (human_resources/recruitment), each exact=1 children=0 in the deployed snapshot. Third-party: ARP at skills/agent-reporting/references/arp/, vendored byte-for-byte from github.com/agentmindsdev/profile @ 51e335aca582460cf14a409ccbe18780c8c78e9f (© AgentMinds, CC-BY-4.0, unmodified); its title reads ARP v1.2.1, that commit is the repo's v1.3.0 — the commit is the pin. Scrub: four greps, tree and unpacked archive — credential grep declares HINDSIGHT_API_KEY and prose 'token'; private-path grep declares the obsidian/vault vocabulary (the subject); operator-identifier grep CLEAN apart from the byline and the catalogue pointer (deliberate: the README names the platform only on the line carrying its public URL).
Review: Approved on the stored bytes: blob sha256 24221e72ab4e506c6a8517cda8ca0d6d09f5fe136aaf06e36f00960e9ce0f44e, 86183 bytes, re-hashed twice and matched to the row contentHash. Every claim in the uploader summary was re-derived from the unpack and holds: 6 SOULs (coordinator plus 5 roles), 12 fileClasses, 9 controlled vocabularies, 9 saved views, 5 canvas dashboards, 2 guard scripts, 8 skills. Taxonomy: 4 OASF skill leaves plus 1 domain leaf (human_resources/recruitment), each exact=1 children=0 in the deployed snapshot. Licence MIT, copyright 2026 James White, with the vendored ARP component (CC-BY-4.0, copyright AgentMinds, pinned to upstream commit 51e335aca582460cf14a409ccbe18780c8c78e9f) disclosed and attributed as shipped. Scrub: no secrets, no credential-shaped files, no personal data, no absolute host paths, no undisclosed third-party material; one home-relative author path remains in a guard script usage line, advisory. Fresh-install test on a stock blank completed (rating 3/5, run [internal reference removed]): six roles created, all 8 skills load, two live agent round-trips reproduce their remits, env.GENESIS_VAULT reaches the agent shell, validator exit codes honest. Findings are install-path improvements carried in the review block (config template invalid as shipped; external skills dir leaks the operator library; billing-handoff unassigned; scheduled roles unscheduled; task board off; validator does not enforce types_of_related_media) - advisory, no record defect, no safety defect, so not grounds for a hold. Not tested: Obsidian plugin steps (GUI) and hosted Hindsight (needs a key); neither is a hold reason. Published private as uploaded, visibility untouched. No outside party contacted, no card and no agent message. (2026-10-07)
